-Tell me about your instrument!

I play a custom-built 6-string electric violin. The extra two strings are both below the range of a normal violin, and the tuning of the instrument is usually (low to high): F-C-G-D-A-E. I sometimes utilize drop tunings, lowering the bottom string down to an E or even a D. Eugene, Oregon-based luthier David Burham designed and built the instrument.
